She's here! 09/23/2008
 Keith and I are so excited to announce that we had a little girl! Mia Katherine was born last Wednesday, September 17. She weighed 9 lbs. 7 oz.! I never would have imagined I was carrying such a big baby! We went into the hospital at 1 a.m. to be induced. I was only 3 days late but my doctor thought that I shouldn't go much longer with such a big baby. He didn't tell me that until AFTER she was born, though. :) The labor went well and probably could have progressed faster if my blood pressure wouldn't have kept getting too low. About 3:10 my epideral bag ran out, so the doctor and nurse said, "Let's have this baby!" Mia was born at 3:25! Keith was a great coach, but I told him later that since I didn't have to push too long it was a piece of cake. He just looked at me like I was crazy. We are both so proud of her and feel incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful, healthy baby girl. Thank you to everyone who was sending prayers our way throughout the pregnancy. We can't wait for Mia to meet all of our family and friends! Do you think this new daddy is very proud? All dolled up for her 1st photo shoot  Grandma N. was so happy to meet Mia! Grandma was the first person we visited after leaving the hospital. She had such sweet words and tears to share with Mia! We love you, Grandma!  Proud Mom Mom and Grandpa! They waited so anxiously all day with Aunt Dawn. What a surprise that our baby was a girl... everyone was convinced we were having a boy! Grandpa made an earlier comment about hoarding as much pink ribbon as he could, so maybe he had a hunch? If you're trying to reach them at home and aren't having success, call me. Chances are they are here bringing lunch or dinner or just getting their "Mia fix"!
